In Buenos Aires

We arrived this morning to Buenos Aires; the flight was OK, except for: a) screaming baby? check; b) awful food? check; uncomfortable seats? check.

We've spent the rest of the day so far relaxing at my parent's house. My dad made a nice asado with chorizo, pork sausage, lamb ribs and bife de chorizo; a nice amount of meat, and there were two nice salads to boot. We took a long nap afterwards and now are just getting ready to go out later, we're going for dinner with my parents to a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in the fashionable hood of Palermo Hollywood. (There's also Palermo Soho, so yeah, it's the trendy part of town). We're having an early (for Buenos Aires, especially on a Saturday night) 9pm dinner, perhaps prepended by a nice merienda with coffee and my mom's chocolate cake. Yep, this trip is all about eating, pretty much. Or at least a significant part of it.
