Just uploaded a few photos of Montevideo and Punta del Este...
In just a few hours, at 5:45am local time, we're flying south from Buenos Aires to El Calafate, and from there taking the bus to El Chaltén for three days of backpacking. Pretty much all our equipment was borrowed from my friend Christian, and I'm hoping we haven't forgotten any crucial items. On Wednesday night we plan on heading back to El Calafate and do an excursion to the Perito Moreno glaciar on Thursday; it's supposed to be really cool. Then Friday we go back to Buenos Aires.
Oh, we went to see a Phoenix concert tonight at a popular but small club called La Trastienda in the San Telmo neighborhood. The show was really good, even though the lead singer seemed a bit tired. But the crowd was really pumped up and it was fun.
